After a fair amount of testing and iterating over the last year, I’ve finally landed on a bowl that I’m very happy with.

Thrown from a stoneware blend, with a strong throwing lines and just right amount of individuality and “wonk”. A porcelain slip is applied to in the inside in three brush strokes and then a clear glaze applied over the interior. The slight foot allows these bowls to stack nicely and the rough russet toned-exterior is satisfying to hold.

This medium size is just the right proportion for breakfast or dessert.

So far I’ve made these in two sizes (see final imabe), but keep your eye open for a matching shallow dish and cup in early 2023.
