After a fair amount of testing and iterating over the last year, I’ve finally landed on a bowl that I’m very happy with.

Thrown from a stoneware blend, with a strong throwing lines and just right amount of individuality and “wonk”. A porcelain slip is applied to in the inside in three brush strokes and then a clear glaze applied over the interior. The slight foot allows these bowls to stack nicely and the rough russet toned-exterior is satisfying to hold.

This medium size is just right for dips, small bites, or a cheeky scoop of ice-cream.

So far I’ve made these in two sizes (see final image), but keep your eye open for a matching shallow dish and cup in early 2023.
